OSHC Manager

Amy
Hi, I’m Amy, and I’m the OSHC Manager at Dalmain OSHC!
I have been part of the Care for Kids team since 2024 and was fortunate to step into the role of OSHC Manager at Dalmain in August 2026. My time with Care for Kids has been incredibly rewarding, giving me the opportunity to build strong relationships with children, families, the school and wider community. One of the most rewarding parts of my role is watching children grow in confidence, develop new skills and form meaningful connections.
My journey working with children began in high school, where I completed a course focused on children, families and communities. This introduced me to child development and the importance of supporting the wellbeing of children, families and their communities. After high school, I began helping my dad, a sports teacher, at school sports carnivals and interschool events. These experiences strengthened my passion for working with children and inspired me to pursue a Bachelor of Primary Education while continuing to explore opportunities within education and care settings.
I am passionate about creating a safe, inclusive and engaging environment where every child feels valued, supported and heard. I believe that positive and meaningful relationships are at the heart of helping children develop confidence, creativity and a strong sense of belonging. I am proud to lead a dedicated team of educators who share this commitment and work together to create experiences that are enjoyable, purposeful and responsive to the children in our care.
My goal is to ensure Dalmain OSHC is a place where children feel comfortable being themselves, exploring their interests, building friendships and developing skills that support their growth and wellbeing. I look forward to continuing to work alongside and grow with the children, families and educators at Care for Kids!

Nourished Beginnings
Healthy Meals & Nutrition
At Care for Kids, we provide nourishing, whole food meals to support children’s health and development. We partner with Nourished Beginnings, a Perth-based early childhood nutrition specialist, to deliver carefully planned menus using fresh ingredients with minimal processing, additives and added sugar.
Our whole food approach helps children develop a positive relationship with food by understanding where it comes from and the nourishment it provides. While ingredients may occasionally vary due to availability, we always ensure meals align as closely as possible with our healthy nutrition principles.
